UMES looks to pick up another home win against a team from Buffalo as they did with Niagara.

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) women's basketball team wraps up the 2007 year with a home contest today when they face Canisius College. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. in the W.P. Hytche Athletic Center

The Lady Hawks (4-4) were on a two game winning streak having dismantled Western Michigan and by winning their first road game, a trip to Delaware. They fell however most recently to Syracuse. Last season the Golden Griffiths of Canisius College edged out the Hawks in Buffalo, N.Y.
