TWO LADY HAWKS NAMED TO ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM

With their season ending in a nail biting, five set loss to Florida A&M University (FAMU) in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Championship match, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) women's volleyball team walked away with somewhat of a consolation prize, having two players named to the all-tournament team: MEAC Player of the Year Christina Esteban� (El Paso, Texas) and MEAC Freshman of the Year Christine Edwards (Lakewood, Calif.). LADY HAWKS FALL TO FAMU IN FINAL, 3-2

The much anticipated rematch of last year's Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) women's volleyball championship did lack excitement. LADY HAWKS ADVANCE IN TOURNEY WITH WIN OVER NSU 3-1

For the first time this season, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) women's volleyball team dropped a set to aconference opponent.
